A WINKIE Pigeon, winner of the final training of the 245 km Pattaya OLR

WINKIE pigeons have once again demonstrated their pedigree, training and winning gene in one of the most important competitions in the world.The last training of the FCI Pattaya International Derby was won by the WINKIE pigeon ring NL 20-1743806.

Out of a total of 4,667 pigeons, the pigeon WINKIE came alone with almost 30 seconds difference to the second in a total of 245 km. This pigeon together with 7 other WINKIE pigeons qualified for the grand final of this OLR, one of the most important and demanding in the world.
