HISTORY

Hans & Evert Jan Eijerkamp have a great passion for racing pigeons. In 1950 Hans Eijerkamp took his first steps in the sport of pigeon racing. With a loft with a small selection of pigeons was the beginning of a hobby that over the years has grown to become one of the most reputable in Europe.
He combined this hobby with working in the furniture business at the age of 16, in his father's store, who together with him managed to grow the business from a local store to a nationally and internationally recognized company in the sector. Since 2000 his sons have been running the business, leaving their father, Hans, more time for his passion; pigeons.
He shared this passion with his three sons, the youngest, Martin, died in a traffic accident in 1990. Hans due to personal circumstances moved away from the pigeon world, while Evert-Jan, one of his sons, became even more motivated, becoming a winner like his father.

Team Eijerkamp

One team, one chain. Throughout their career Hans & Evert-Jan have surrounded themselves with the best, to form a team of champions. Henk Jurriëns is Evert and Jan's right-hand man, being the contact person for the Eijerkamp team. Together with Evert-Jan Eijerkamp, he is in charge of selecting the breeding pairs in Brummen, in close cooperation with Arnold Paalman. Kees van de Beek manages the racing pigeons.  Rick Wuestenenk has several breeding pigeons under his care. Since 2017 Oliver Sabol joined the Eijerkamp racing team and together with Kees van de Beek they are responsible for taking care of the racing team. All with one goal in mind: to be the best loft in the Netherlands!
The passion, experience and efforts of the whole team provide many successes. The name Hans & Evert-Jan Eijerkamp stands for quality, performance and reliability.
